Born and raised in Waterville, Maine, Jessica began her path as an artist by mimicking the styles of anime such as Yu-Gi-Oh! and Pokémon. Various fantasy books, movies, and video games had inspired her to create her own stories.

Jessica had been self-taught throughout her time in junior high. After graduating high school, she attended the University of Maine at Augusta for a Bachelor's in Art with a focus in Drawing, but gaining an additional skill in painting while attending. Throughout her time in university, her skills had progressed and soared to levels she once dreamed of.

Her graphic story 7/31/18: My Day of Discovery, portraying the events leading to the diagnosis of a chronic illness, won an Excellence in Drawing Award at the student art exhibition. That same year, her senior art project Melissa's Story: How I Got Here, a graphic story excerpt of an in-progress tale, won the Art Faculty Purchase Prize.

​Jessica's works are diverse in subject matter, featuring figure drawings of people and animals, conceptual fantasy illustrations, and portrayals of Maine's natural scenery and landscapes. She strives for the beauty of the subject to be portrayed whenever she can, using vibrant colors to stand out in a muted world.
