Ever since I was young, I greatly adored the numerous Japanese graphic novels, animations, and video games that I saw and played. I was drawn to not only the stylization of faces, but also the linework. They inspired me to visually portray and build stories of my own in a similar visual style This series of paintings is an excerpt of Army of the Master's prologue.

Melissa recalls certain events she experienced in the past two years, from the day that changed the lives of her and her friends, to the night she was found walking in the rain. This excerpt and selected sketched thumbnails were chosen to give viewers an entry point into the story's narrative.
